Drying dried fruits and vegetables

Sustainable life has become a hot topic in the world.
It is very important to eliminate waste. What should I start with?
The previous my house had a garden, and the vegetable garbage recycled into the soil as compost,

but now that I moved to an apartment.
There is no large garden so I researched how to reduce the amount of garbage.

I remembered that some new discoveries during my trip to London at the end of last year.
One is the wonderful taste of herbal tea. I learned that we can make delicious herbal tea just by drying fruits and various herbal leaves.

After returning to Japan, I wanted to experiment to cook the herbal tea.
Vegetables and fruits can always be left in the fridge, so I thought it would be a great idea to dry them and make tea to reuse the waste of vegetables.

The first thing I did was look for tools for drying fruits and just found the basket for drying dried fruits.
That’s it. This seems work out.  Just hanging or putting dry fruits outside is not safe because crows and pigeons may take it away. I ordered the aluminum basket so that it can be used many times clean.

Now it’s ready to make one from now on.
In Japan, the sunny and dry weather continues during the winter so it is perfect time to experiment it.
I will keep updating how it goes in this blog. I cannot wait to try it!!
